Nifoxipam (0.5 mg)

Our Nifoxipam Pellets contain 0.5 mg active ingredient. Other pellets on the market are currently sold at 2mg so our prices reflect this (effectively being 1/4 of the price). These should also be utilized in research conditions at a 4:1 ratio to achieve the desired results if comparing to the other type of pellets on the market.

What is Nifoxipam

Nifoxipam is a PAM ((positive allosteric modulator) of the benzodiazepine receptors, specifically the ‘diazepam sensitive’ sites. It has not been investigated but is a known to be a metabolite of flunitrazepam showing it has no toxic effects at the weights used for research.

What is Nifoxipam used for?

As an unexplored metabolite, a large range of in vivo and in-vitro research paths are open. The hydroxyl group may be esterified altering solubility values in different solvents. The hydroxyl may be deuterated and readily replaced by other groups giving a research compound with a VERY wide spectrum of uses.
